John Meek '33, Treasurer of the College, was our honored guest and speaker on February 24 at our annual meeting held at the University Club atop Nob Hill in San Francisco. Over fifty alumni, some with wives, learned what is taking place on our campus, 3,000 miles to the east. We are pleased to note that there is still a place and time in busy college life for a bit of horseplay, though the pace of undergraduate life, as described by John, sounds pretty hectic.

New officers for the year were elected - by acclamation, as always. President is LeeCliff '52, Vice President, Jack Shuman '52, Secretary, Ben Webb '4O and Treasurer, Carl Ward '32. Our secretary for the past five years, Gene Carver '5O felt he could not continue, much to our sorrow, but as a parting gift he was given a set of Dartmouth glasses and our thanks for a job well done. Plans for the coming year are indefinite, but probably will include a baseball night with the Giants and Chub Feeney '43 and a picnic at Angel Island in June or July.

Our enrollment workers are hard at their job finishing up the form 6's and are looking forward to the word from the Admissions Office on our 65, or so, applicants. Bill Montgomery '52 takes over next fall as our National Enrollment Chairman.

Weekly luncheons at the Iron Horse on Maiden Lane, near Kearny, continue each Wednesday at noon. A cordial welcome to all you west coast visitors - come join a lively group for our one hour talkfest. We are listed in the telephone book, YUI-8191.

A big vote of thanks to Art Young '46, our outgoing President, for the fine year of activities.

Bob Mortimer '47 (r), President of the Chicago Alumni Association, with PresidentDickey who was, principal speaker at annual dinner meeting of the Windy City alumni.
