As for many years the customary dinner after the Dartmouth-Harvard game was held with an attendance of twenty. The meet, at first an '87 affair, is now in charge of Dr. Blakely '89 and the attendance as our numbers diminished has overflowed into the nineties. Present were: Watson '83; Burnett, Gage, Junkins and Sanborn from '87; Cate '88; Bartlett, Dr. Blakely and Frost from '89; Sec. Hardy, John McDonald, Ruggles, Dr. Safford from '90; Abbott, Cobb, Lord, O'Brien, Sec. Rowe from '91; Dr. Emerson and Sec. Strong from '92. The after dinner talk included reminiscences, the affairs of the College but centered on the national election, and those present heard much that does not appear in the press. Sanborn gave a five minutes' talk on research made by himself and colleagues.

Mrs. Wallace is now living with her sister at 20 Barnes St., Claremont, N. H. Last August she sold her household goods at Canaan and Bun's fine home is for sale. Her health has shown marked improvement from the paralytic shock suffered in October, 1939 Willey's daughter Edna writes that her mother's eyesight has improved so that she is able to resume social life Gage called on Blakey last September and found him improved since the former call. Gage was due to go south ' November Mrs. Hildreth spent three months in Miami and St. Pete last winter but will not repeat this year. The summet she spent in Atlantic City. The sea shore helps her rheumatic trouble George E. Johnson reports that all is Well with her family. Her son Stephen continues as credit manager for the same firm in Port, land, Me. Both Rachel's and Lucy's husbands have changed their positions with satisfaction Mrs. Willard writes from State College, Penna., that there are no changes. Joe's son, a successful lawyer, is building a home nearby Winn had an article in the Manchester paper anent Dorothy Thompson's support of the President The secretary expects to pass the winter in Tampa, Florida.
