May 1-2 was the occasion of the annual meeting of the Class Officers' Association in Hanover. At this time of the year, as you may recall, the transition from "schlump" to early summer is virtually complete. I think the news that class dues have been paid by 71% of the 1958 graduates (64% of all classmates) is the most noteworthy bit of information emerging from the weekend. This year marked the highest over-all percentage of dues-paying graduates and non-graduates in the history of the College. I'm sure that I join the class in extending congratulations to Treasurer Gary Finerty for his fine performance on our behalf. I would like to urge all of you who may have as vet neglected to forward your check to Gary to do so as soon as possible in order to boost our class to the top of the heap in this race. . . ,
