Theodore V. Purcell '33, S.J., is the author of two chapters in recently published books: "The Social Sciences and the Spiritual Exercises" in Contemporary Thought andthe Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola (Loyola University of Chicago); and "Negro Workers' Hopes for Their Children" in Blue Collar World (Prentice-Hall 1964).

"Automobile Insurance — Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow" is the title of an article in the January 30, 1965 issue of Insurance, New York, by William O. Bailey '47.

"Direct Costing and the Law" is the title of an article in The Accounting Review, Vol. XL, No. 1, January 1965, by Robert W. Hirschman '51.

Recent articles co-authored by Jeffrey O'Connell '51 include "Basic Protection — A Proposal for Improving Automobile Claims Systems," Harvard Law Review, Vol. 78, No. 2, December 1964, pp. 329-384, and "A Basic Protection Insurance Act for Claims of Traffic Victims" in the Harvard Journalon Legislation, Vol. 2, No. 1, January 1965. Both articles are adapted from chapters of a book to be published in 1965 by Little, Brown and Co., Basic Protection for theTraffic Victim — A Blueprint for Reform-ing Automobile Insurance.

University of Illinois agronomist William D. Pardee '51 is the author of "New Hybrids Needed for Narrow-row Corn" in the February 25, 1965 issue of Hoard's Dairyman.

Co-author for the article, "Electronics Industry Today," which appeared in the January 1965 issue of Trusts and Estates, New York, was Stuart Ensinger Jr. '57.

The Traffic Engineering Monthly of Washington, D. C., for February contained an article by Joseph A. Wattleworth '59, entitled "Estimation of Demand at Freeway Bottlenecks."

Howard L. Weinberg '62 wrote "To Them, It's Still Omaha-ha-ha" about Easterner attitudes toward the Midwest for the Omaha Sunday World-Herald Magazine ofthe Midlands.
