A March 30 report from John Remsen says that a total of $955 had been contributed to the Warde Wilkins Memorial Fund by classmates and friends. There could be more by this time but right now we know that the Alumni Fund is getting the call.
Nomadic members of the class seem to be returning north - somewhat ahead of the birds. The Jay Runkles now show an address at 1850 South Ocean Boulevard, Pompano Beach, Fla. The Jack Nelsons assume their Manchester, N. H., residence at 1550 Union St., J. Loy Maloney at 1380 Dartmouth Road, Flossmore, Ill. A new address for Charles F. Archer reads: 20 Knoll Road, Marshfield, Mass. Joe Cheney now claims Ocean Point, Me., as his address. And - a new address for Bill Baldwin. He is now at Star Route, Surry, N. H. Anybody cruising in that neighborhood might check on this lad and let the newsletter editor in on the situation.
Vic Dunbar has returned from a jaunt into Peru to satisfy his curiosity about the Aztecs and Incas.
The six-week tour of the John Remsens to southern spots went well until the return trip when they negotiated the Chesapeake Bay Bridge in a fog and came into Washington ahead of the cherry blossoms. However, they did see the Conants and the EddieSides en route so all was not lost to northern climatic idiosyncrasies.
Bill and Lois Towler and Joe and MarieBarnett sojourned at Sea Island, Ga., recently. A dispatch says they held a class reunion and granted full class privileges to their fair companions. I think the ladies deserve it.
If it appears from the brevity of this message that the lines of communication have broken down - you're right. There's no Tel-Star working for this old scrivener. As I have said before - I cannot dream up things about members of the class.
