This is our first chance to award wah-hoowahs for the steak broil on April 28 at the Jokake Wikiup, attended by 36 members and guests, arranged by Frank Poor '26, and masterfully maestroed by retiring (maybe outgoing is better) prexy Dune Newell Jr.'36. The movie of Dartmouth's undefeated football team was enjoyed by all. Thanks to Jack Huntress '33 for the loan of his projector.

Treasurer Charlie Fay '49 said fully half of our members in Phoenix, suburbs and northern scattering had paid their $5 dues, and there were many Scholarship Fund donations. (Dues for 1966-67 will stay at the same level and are now due.) One good use of this money is to help take care of the many incidental expenses of the Enrollment Committee under Chairman Dick VaulesJr. '57. His work was outstanding this year. We had 24 completed applications for the Class of 1970, ten admissions, and eight acceptances. These new frosh will get better acquainted at a small shindig right after Labor Day. Our five Arizona upperclassmen are reported to have turned in fine records - curricular and around campus - and are hereby congratulated by their proud hometowners.

A new slate of officers are now at work for the Phoenix Club. Our president is BillBehrens '56, a lawyer in town and very recently engaged to be married. Vice-president is Dr. Dick Loughry '34. Ad-man Dick Holbrook '31, a transplant from New York, is your scribe. Charlie Fay '49 continues as old-money-bags. Russ Fisher '17 continues as assistant secretary. Executive committee members include all the above, Dune Newell'36, Dick Vaules '57, Frank Poor '26, KenTodd '32 and Dr. Wayne Frerichs '46. BillMiller '51, secretary and long-time leader in Club activities, takes a well-earned sabbatical.

The first Tuesday of every month, r—-- or shine, the Dartmouth Club of Phoenix meets at noon at the Arizona Manor on Camelback at 24th Street for a good two-dollar roastbeef lunch and talk-fest. Among those you can expect to see will be recent attendees Jim Felter '46, Bill Gilmore '34, Judge LarryHenderson '22, Lester Hoyle '37, Phil Kerce'61, Tower Snow '31 et alia cum laude. We particularly welcome Dartmouth visitors, guests, and wives on all occasions.
