MARCH 1965 WILLIAM E. MILLER '51, RICHARD G. HOLBROOK '31

These notes have been compiled in haste by new Publicity Chairman Dick Holbrook '31 to relieve Secretary Bill Miller '51 who is currently conducting interviews with eight Dartmouth applicants. Bill is assisted by Dick Vaules '57.

The Club meets the first Tuesday of each month at the Arizona Manor, 24th Street and Camelback at 12:15, two dollars. At the February 2 meeting, a Constitution for and of the Dartmouth Club of Phoenix was proposed, seconded, discussed, and unanimously adopted by the twelve dues-paid members present and voting. Thanks for work on this document were tendered by President Tower Snow '31 to Ken Todd '32 on behalf of all. Ken was assisted by Treasurer Dune Newell '36, Judge Laurens Henderson '22 and Tom Wiley '53.

It was announced that Professor of Economics James F. Cusick will come from Hanover to be a guest of the Dartmouth Club of Phoenix and speaker at a dinner meeting to be held Monday, March 29, at the Bull Pen Restaurant on North 16th Street. Wives, guests, out-of-Phoenix alumni and winter visitors are cordially invited to join the party. Cocktails: 7 to 8 (P.M. that is). A fine dinner at a reasonable price is being arranged through Dartmouth connections. Jim Cusick will bring news of campus activities, and a report on the first (and highly successful) Dartmouth Alumni College of which he is curriculum director.

The March 29 dinner coincides with the annual meeting, so elections for the coming year will be held. Ed Comins '45, chairman, Bill Gilmore '34 and Bill Miller '51 are the nominating committee appointed by the Club President. They will offer a slate for President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and three additional executive committee members.

Come to Phoenix where it's warm and sunny even in New England's dreary month of schlumph!
