Despite a conflict with the advanced date of the Freshmen Trip, our Freshmen Sendoff Dinner held on September 7, 1966 was a success with over thirty persons in attendance. The evening started off with a cocktail hour and dinner and concluded with a talk by Mark Sheets '69 and a showing of the "Ski-way Story" movie and Danube River film strip.
We would invite you to mark the following dates on your calendar: Saturday, November 19, 1966, following the Dartinouth-Penn football game at Franklin Field, the Dartmouth Club of Philadelphia will be holding its fabulous post-game cocktail party in the Egyptian ("mummy") room of the University of Pennsylvania Museum. The proceeds of this event will go to the Scholarship Fund of the Dartmouth Club of Philadelphia.
Tuesday, December 27, 1966, for the annual Dutch-treat luncheon for undergraduates, dads and alumni.
Although this report will appear after our annual Dartmouth night celebration on October 14, 1966, we look forward to a fine evening on that occasion.
Please keep in mind that our enrollment activities are again in full swing as we look for outstanding boys for the class of '71. If you know of an outstanding boy or are interested in giving us a hand with enrollment work, please contact Dick Lippman '42 at WA 3-1945 or MI 6-4651.
When in Philadelphia, please remember that the club meets informally for lunch each Monday at noon at the Poor Richard Club, 1319 Locust Street.
