Sure Sign of Spring.
APRIL 1966

A slight shift of your eyes to the left-hand page will assure you, if the robins haven't already, that spring has arrived. The 52nd annual Alumni Fund is growing right along with the flowers of the new season, with some $550,000 in advance gifts and pledges already in hand from more than 2400 contributors.

The objective of the 1966 Alumni Fund is $1,900,000, a jump of about $120,000 over the record-setting total given last year. Serving his second year as Chairman of the Alumni Fund Committee is Rupert C. Thompson Jr. '28 of Providence, R. I., who along with President Dickey and members of the Fund staff from Hanover has been kicking off the April 1 to June 30 campaign before many of the more than 4400 class agents at gatherings in Boston, New York, Cleveland, Chicago, Minneapolis, St. Louis, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia.

The material to the left and the cause it represents are both recommended.
