The thirty academic departments of the College are now grouped in three Divisions as follows:

Since the war, the Humanities Division has added Russian Civilization, the Archaeology part of Art and Archaeology has disappeared, and Public Speaking has become Speech. In the Sciences Division, Botany and Zoology have combined into Biological Sciences, Astronomy has left Mathematics and joined up with Physics, Physiology has disappeared as a department, and Engineering Sciences has replaced the old Graphics and Engineering. In the Social Sciences, least changed, Sociology has become Sociology and Anthropology. The three ROTC departments of Air Science, Military Science, and Naval Science have also been added.
