Well over one hundred members and their families and friends turned out on Sunday, March 20 at Mayfair Farms in West Orange to have dinner with coach Bob Blackman and several of his assistants who were all headed to Atlantic City for their profession's annual encampment. The food was excellent and the words were soothing. Dartmouth should be strong next season, but the other fellows will be pointing for us with improved squads of their own. Our coaching staff impressed us all as razor sharp, and this very possibly could spell the difference.

We were fortunate to have Ed Chamberlain '36 and Al Quirk '49 of the College Admissions Office with us on the night of March 30 to review the enrollment and interviewing functions as they will stand under the College's reorganization plan. All local alumni interested in this vital work are urged to contact Ray Reitman '36 who heads all this up in the club area. He can be reached at 762-8093. There would be no better time to get acquainted than to be with us at our annual reception for the incoming Pea Green Freshmen from northern New Jersey on Sunday, April 24. This is being held at the Hotel Suburban in East Orange beginning at 2:30 P.M. and is always extremely well attended.

Our final function of the season will be the ever-popular family picnic at Bill Blanchard's ('30) home in New Vernon on May 28. Written notice of this will be forthcoming shortly. In the event that anyone reading this is not on our mailing list, a phone call to the Secretary would be most appreciated.

Officers of the Minneapolis alumni club, with President Dickey immediately after thedinner meeting in March, are (I to r) Norman Carpenter '53, secretary; Alumni Councilor Robert Krieger '41; Judge James Rogers '51, outgoing president; Mr. Dickey;William Thayer '49, new club president; and Lyman Wakefield '33, treasurer.
