The annual Christmas luncheon for students, alumni, and friends of Dartmouth in Central New York was held on December 18 at the Onondaga Golf and Country Club in Fayetteville, with some 150 in attendance. Highlighting the meeting, ably presided over by Russ Carlson '48, Club president, was a brief talk by Roland Burbank '31, headmaster of Manlius School, on "Why, a Liberal Arts Education." This year we were also fortunate to have John Anderson, offensive line coach, with us to show and comment on the November 11 Dartmouth-Princeton football game films. Prior to adjournment, Ail-American Chuck Matuszak '67, as Club Emissary, was handed a silver plaque to present to the College engraved, "To the finest football team in the East and the most imaginative coaches in the land. Dartmouth Club of Central New York, 18 December 1965."
Exciting plans are currently being formulated to have a joint tent with the' Rochester group at the Dartmouth-Cornell game this fall at Ithaca.
Officers of the Dartmouth Club of Central New York for the year, other than indicated above, are William J. Morrow '40, vice president, and Richard H. Spencer '36, treasurer.
