Eddie Jeremiah's hockey team swings into Ivy League action January 7, after an even-Stephen December record. Dartmouth defeated Bowdoin handily 7-2, then lost 2-6 to a scrappy Colby team.
Warren Cook '67 of Williamstown, Mass., is captain and first-string goalie. He was third last year among Ivy netminders on the basis of the 159 saves he made. Jeremiah rates him as "much improved" this year.
The first line is entirely sophomore. Gary Goodenough of Rochester, Minn., is at left wing, Joe Fahey of Melrose, Mass., plays center, and Robbie Cann, also of Melrose, holds down right wing.
Goodenough has what Jeremiah terms "the hardest shot in the league."
The second line features Bill Smoyer '67, Princeton, N. J., and '69s Bob Wagner, Saratoga Springs, N. Y., and Dick Fryberger, Duluth, Minn.
