Ruth Kingsbury has written me that 1906 has another grandson in Dartmouth. JackKingsbury was, of course, in our class. His son, David, was in the class of 1945 and his grandson, Fred, is in the class of 1970.

In January Mrs. Eric P. Kelly presented the coveted Newberry Medal, which Eric had received in 1929 for his book, "The Trumpeter of Krakow," to the New York Public Library. This award is given annually to the author of the most distinguished contribution to American children's literature.

On April first, Bill Edgerton, the son of Lorraine and Halsey Edgerton, will be married to Ann Switzer.

Again I have the sad duty to inform the class of the death of two classmates, JoeCushing on Wednesday, December 14, 1966 and Fred Walsh on January 2, 1967. The Class extends its sincerest sympathy to Carolyn and Grace.

Nat Leverone, a life member of the Chicago Crime Commission, predicts, in the January issue of his company's Canteen Quarterly, that anarchy will result from the Supreme Court decisions aimed at protecting the rights of criminals, unless sanity and reason are restored to the rules governing our law enforcement bodies.

In the month of March Catherine Chapin will be giving a birthday present to Arthur; Grace Chellis will be buying one for Converse; Ruth Cogswell will get something for Eliot and Winifred Glaze will have a present for Ralph if he stops running long enough for her to give it to him.
