Dean Thad Seymour and the Glee Club roared into the Motor City within five weeks of each other drawing some 150 Greater Detroit Alumni together for two stimulating evenings.

Dean Seymour, employing no sleight-of-and, was spell-binding at the stag Annual Meeting with his tales of Dartmouth Today. New officers elected for 1967-68 are DaveLodge '60, President; Woody Proctor '55, Vice-President; Skip Weymouth '54, Secretary and Dave Ward '59, Treasurer. An entirely new Executive Committee was also elected including Stu Gord '58, Tom Hall'62, Dick Dickson '50, Jim Tracy '36, Bob Flood '54 and Larry Gazley '60.

The Glee Club performance, expertly arranged for by immediate past president Bob Martin '54 and his committee, was a smash hit for both the listeners and the Dartmouth Club of Detroit Scholarship Fund. Only the snow-on-the-brain weatherman did not cooperate with what was billed as a "Spring Concert." However, Prof. Paul Zeller had the presence of mind not to include the "Hanover Winter Song" in the program.

Most felt that the 1967 edition was one of the finest Glee Clubs that Paul has ever assembled. A record 56 patrons, including five Dartmouth Fathers, insured the success of the project. It is expected that the proceeds from this concert will now allow the Club to award its first scholarship to a deserving young man from the area.
