The Dartmouth Club of Detroit, running in high gear, has had a most active few months.

Dave Lodge '60 organized a most successful Tuck School Computer Conference in April attended by nearly 100 alumni and their business associates.

The St. Clair Inn and Country Club was the scene of perhaps the most successful event the Club has held in years. CreightHolden '40 and his wife, Jean, opened their doors for forty couples who partook of lunch, golf, swimming, tennis or boat riding, cocktails, seafood buffet, and dancing. Some even had the presence of mind to stay at the Inn overnight. Gard Cook '41 won the Holden Cup for golfing prowess, and everyone had such a ball that we hope that Creight will make this an annual affair.

Bob Van Dam '62 is pumping some new life into the monthly luncheons held at the University Club. He is putting together a speakers' program to discuss the important issues of our times. Bob, himself, discussed "The Use and Abuse of Political Polls" at the October Luncheon.

Walt Maischoss '59 masterminded Dart- mouth Night festivities at the Detroit Playboy Club which is owned by Chicago's GeneHoward '49. A welcome, last-minute guest was Roger Penland, assistant varsity basketball coach.

Enjoying Dartmouth Night festivities at the Detroit Playboy Club are (l to r) RogerPenland, assistant varsity basketball coach; Rem Ryder '35, president of the Dart-mouth Club of Detroit; Bunny Terri '6Bh; Walt Maischoss '59, Dartmouth Nightchairman, and Bob Wangbichler '60, 1969 Glee Club chairman.
