Head Football Coach Bob Blackman, truly one of Dartmouth's finest all-around ambassadors, entertained an enthusiastic crowd of 75 Detroiters and their gals at the annual meeting on March 21 at the Hotel Ponchartrain. While Bob's talk was not primarily athletically-oriented, he did make it quite clear that a strong Eli team may be in for trouble at the Yale Bowl come fall.

The nominating committee, chaired by Phil Moon '42, came up with a well-balanced ticket. New officers elected for 1968-69 are Rem Ryder '35, president; John North '52, vice-president in charge of attendance; DaveMoss '58, vice-president and Club enrollment liaison officer, and Skip Weymouth'54, secretary-treasurer. Joining Dick Dickson '50, Jim Tracy '36, Stu Gord '58 and Tom Hall '62 on the executive committee are Chuck Moon '35 and Bob Rodgers '42.

The Dartmouth Club of Detroit Scholarship Fund Committee, headed by Bob Martin '54, reports that it is within a whisker of finalizing arrangements for awarding its first scholarship to a deserving young man from our area in the Class of 1972.

Dave Lodge '60, immediate past president, was in charge of the Tuck School Computer Conference held at the Hotel Ponchartrain on April 30 for all alumni and their business associates.
