Gerry Shaye has completed fifteen weeks of training and is in Venezuela with the Peace Corps. He is working in community development.
Scott Creelman recently became engaged to Miss Joanna Steele. They plan a May wedding. Scott is now working for the Scott Paper Company in Philadelphia after graduating from Columbia Business School. Jim Zurn was married in December (news travels slowly) to the former Geraldine Day. They are living in Alexandria, Va. CharleyBrown is engaged to Miss Sarah Morris. A June 24 wedding is planned. Both are students at Western Reserve School of Law and work on the Law Review, of which Charley is an associate editor. Bob Cahners recently joined the Boston-based Cahners Publishing Company as assistant to the vice president and director of corporate research.
In April Gabriel Serenyi was married to the former Annelore Hardam in Washington, D. C. She is the daughter of the assistant naval attache at the German Embassy. Gabe is now completing a tour of duty aboard the "U.S.S. Richard B. Byrd" although he hopes to be transferred to shore duty in Washington in a few months.
John Rhetts is engaged to Susan Broden (Smith). John has received a master's degree from Harvard and is a candidate for a doctoral degree at Cornell. A June wedding is planned. Another engagement: Fred Mock and Jane Seymour. Fred recently left the Army. He served as a lieutenant with the 101st Airborne Division.
Dick Klein is engaged to Miss Pamela Paine. Pam and Dick expect to receive Master of Fine Arts degrees in June from the Yale University School of Drama; she in acting and he in stage design. Chris Gates received an M.S. in education for teaching the mentally handicapped from the State University of New York.
Lynn McCanse and Virginia Bedford became engaged this spring. Lynn is now in his third year of medical school at the University of Missouri. Kerry Nevins and Pat MacPherson will be married July 29. Kerry is presently a third year student at the New York Medical College and is a member of Alpha Kappa Kappa medical fraternity. Lt.Robert Brayton completed a course in communications at Keesler A.F.B., Miss. He is being assigned to McGuire A.F.B., N. J., for duty with the Air Force Communication Service. Russell Grohe and Judy Bills will be married August 5 at the Air Force Chapel at Wright-Patterson A.F.B. The Procter and Gamble Company has announced the promotion of Barry Ramsdell from associate buyer to buyer in the purchasing department. Also in the business world, Jim Stewart has affiliated with Kidder, Peabody and Company in Boston as a registered representative. Jim recently qualified for his stockbroker's license and has completed a Kidder Peabody training program for new representatives. Jim has recently returned from Vietnam where he was responsible for intelligence briefings for Gen. William Westmoreland's staff.
Danny Rellis was married in April to the former Miss Ellen Heimoff. Dick Payne was an usher. Danny received a master's from Yale and is working for his doctorate in mathematics. They will live in New York City. Bill Dubocq and his wife Holly will spend the summer in Acton, Mass., where he will be Summer Director for the Teen Center. Bill is now in his senior year at Andover Theological School. In the fall Bill will begin to serve an intern year of study at Governor Dummer Academy in Byfield, Mass., where he will serve as coach, instructor and chaplain to the Academy.
Bill Ringham and Anne Kinnaird will be married in July. Bill is now a lieutenant in the Navy stationed in Charleston. Miss Judy Howard and Doug Montgomery plan to be married in the summer. Doug is working for a doctorate in Public Administration at Syracuse University. A non-varsity tennis player at Dartmouth, Doug is the varsity tennis coach for Syracuse University.
Carl Razzano and Lucinda Anne Farmer plan a July 15 wedding. Both are juniors at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. Bob McClure and Suenelda Bersebach were married May 27. Bob is in the doctoral program in social psychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Lt. Fred Wangaard and his wife Carolyn have a new member to add to the crew - Frederick Field Wangaard III. Fred Sr. is stationed aboard the "U.S.S. Thor," which is a cable-laying ship.
Al Cotton has joined the Norton Company as a technical writer. He will be in advertising and public relations. He recently completed course requirements for a Master's degree in Public Relations at the Boston University School of Public Communication. Pete Luitwieler was commissioned a second lieutenant in the Army after grad- uating from the Infantry Officer Candidate School, Ft. Benning, Ga.
Terrence McCoy now at Duke Law and Martha Trimble will be married in August. Tom Adams and Ann Connell have similar plans except for June. Tom will receive his law degree from Northwestern also in June. Ed Jaeger was engaged in March to Miss Elizabeth Pierce. A July 15 wedding is planned. Ed, a lieutenant in the Army, is presently stationed at Fort Mead in Maryland.
Got a letter from Calvin Christman last week. He is presently teaching at Middle Tennessee State University after receiving Master of Arts degrees from Vanderbilt in history and teaching. He plans to teach a few years before going for his Ph.D. in history. Chuck Pitman will graduate from Vanderbilt Law and will be going into the foreign service this fall. Graduating from Stanford Law are Bill Neukam and Rob Arthur.
Bill Howey, just returned from Vietnam, is engaged to Pat Ament of Raytown, Mo. Bill has reported to Newport to go to Destroyer School.
