Once again the outstanding efforts of all classes made possible the remarkable success of the Fund as a whole. The Class of 1907 is proud of its record in. the 1968 Alumni Fund. There were 143 contributors. Bob Kenyon, our class agent, and his workers as well as members of the Class and particularly the widows are to be congratulated.
For 61st informal reunion was delightful. We arrived in Hanover on Friday, June 14, in time to meet many of the 1908ers and members of other classes, and to attend the Commencement exercises. The new Tuck Mall dormitory was our headquarters, which we enjoyed very much. On Saturday morning we proceeded to Crick Crocker's at South Strafford, Vt., where we enjoyed a cocktail hour. At noon time we went to the Buena Vista Inn where Crick and Helena were our hosts for lunch. Those present were Allan Brown and daughter, Ethel Lindley; Boband Lura Kenyon, Helen Cummings, Georgeand Ethel Grebenstein and of course Helena and Crick. A splendid get-together.
Late Saturday afternoon Lura and Bob drove Ethel and me up to North Haverhill to see Harley and Mattie Mann. They were greatly surprised to see us.
Last May you will recall that there was a very destructive tornado in Oelwein, lowa, where our classmate, George Jamison, lives and operates a lumberyard. George writes that the lumberyard was badly damaged, however all of the Jamison family escaped injury.
Augustus Wisall's granddaughter, Cynthia Curtis Wiswall, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Bolt Wiswall '38, became the bride of Bryan John Litchfield of Dracut, Mass., on June 22. Both are graduates of Cushing Academy and Bryan graduated from Brooke Institute, Santa Barbara, Calif.
George (Bit) Hoyt has been in the Alta Bates Memorial Hospital, Berkeley, Calif. 94705, after suffering a stroke. George would love to hear from his classmates.
Mrs. Helen G. Pelren, widow of our classmate Harry, died at the Concord, N. H. Hospital. Services were held at the Hussey Chapel on August 9. Augustus C. Wiswall of Wakefield, Mass., died on June 30 and George Liscomb of Elkins, N. H., on Wednesday, July 17. Further information about these two classmates will he found in this or a subsequent issue of the MAGAZINE.
During the week of July 20 to 26 your secretary and Ethel visited with Allan Brown and his daughter, Ethel Lindley at Highland Lake, East Andover, N. H. We had a wonderful time, the weather was perfect and on the way back home we stopped overnight with the Kenyons at Bow, N. H.
That's all the news for now. Please keep your letters coming my way for it's nice to hear from you all.
