The 100 th' Anniversary dinner of the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Boston at the Statler-Hilton Hotel on January 22 was a tremendous success. Bishop Niles and Bill Smart attended same and sat at table #59 with Ned French '06, Norm Russell '06, Roger Brown '05 and wife Jane, also L. F. Niles '35. The speakers, President Dickey and Governor Nelson Rockefeller '30, were interesting and the Glee Club was terrific. It was a great success.
Dwight W. Hiestand wrote your secretary from the El Cortez Hotel in San Diego, Calif., that he has been visiting friends and relatives in Los Angeles including his brother Eck Hiestand '10, and that he is on his way to El Paso, and then south Chihuahua, Torreon, and Veracruz where the weather is warmer.
Edward and Agnes Barker of Rutherford, N. J., are enjoying better health and hope that "The Grim Reaper" will be lenient toward Were. We hope so too.

The 52nd Annual Cheshire County Dartmouth Alumni Association banquet held on December 26 at the Winding Brook Lodge in Keene, N. H., was successful and interesting and enjoyed by all. Red Rolfe '31, Director of Athletics, spoke about present and future teams of the Big Green's sports program.
Bub Coombs of Oak Park, Ill., is enjoying good health. Bill Smart of Belmont, Mass., says that he is feeling much better and that Ruth is fine.
Don Williams mailed me his copy of the book on "Nathaniel Leverone Pioneer in Automatic Merchandising" by Gladys Zehnpfrening published in 1963 by T. S. Denison and Co., Inc., Minneapolis. Don and Nate were roommates in old Sanborn Hall you may recall. I have just completed reading it and recommend it to all Dartmouth men. It is exceedingly interesting and has many constructive ideas and methods for one's future success in life.
