Arthur Howland Leavitt of 3903 Old Lee Highway, Fairfax, Va. 22030 is on a trip to Vicenza, Italy, to visit his grandson and family. Then he will go to Venice, Verona, and Rome after which he will fly to London to spend the month of May and return home by June 1. That's quite a trip. It reminds me of my visit to Rome and Genoa in 1910. I was in the house in Genoa in which Columbus was born.

I have just received word that Mrs. H.Richardson Lane (Lucy) of 8 West Hill Place, Boston, Mass. 02100 has been in the Phillips House for seven weeks with a broken hip and is now back home again using a walker. Lucy, you have our deepest sympathy. We hope that you will get well soon so that you will be able to enjoy your swimming and beaching on the Cape this summer as usual.

I had a very nice letter recently from Mrs. Charles H. Hathaway (Irene) of 6 Leonard Road, Bronxville, N. Y. 10708 that she had a memorable visit to Hanover las' October with her son Jack '43. She me' many members of the college administration when she made a memorial endowment pledge of $25,000 for a music room in Hopkins Center in Pat's memory. This is truly wonderful for you classmates remember Pat was a leader of the Glee Club and College choir. He was also Class Chorister.

classmates having birthdays in the near future are: June 3, Edward Barker, born Tune 6, George Jamison, born 1886; July 7, Edward Temple, born 1884; July 14 Theodore Redington, born 1885; July in' William Wildey, born 1884; Aug. 14, Herbert Mitchell, born 1887; and August Robert Kenyon, born 1885. Happy Birthdays to all of you good classmates!

Your Class President and Secretary, Greb and his wife Ethel visited Class Agent Bob Kenyon and Lura at their home 'in Concord, N. H., on April 29. Also present was Harriet Ahern (Bill's widow). On Friday Lura chauffeured us to Hanover to attend the Class Officers meetings on April 30 and May 1. These are always very interesting. Also attending the meetings were Treasurer Crick Crocker andHelena. We were all housed at the Hanover Inn. It was very nice to have our class officers present for that occasion.

The Alumni Fund drive will be drawing to a close on June 30 and your donations always mean so much to the College.

We look forward to seeing many of you good folks at our 64th Informal Reunion on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, June 14, 15, and 16 in Hanover where we will meet many old time friends. Crick Crocker and Helena have invited us over to their summer home in South Strafford, Vt., for lunch as usual. Isn't that nice?

So long for now, but please keep your letters coming my way, classmates, widows, and families.
