A wedding of interest to '09ers took place in the First Congregational Church of Winchester, Mass., on June 22 when the granddaughter of Joseph W. and Dorothy B. Worthen became the bride of Dwight Hudson MacHerron '67. Sally Washburn Worthen, the bride, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Worthen D '42 of Winchester, Mass. She and her husband-to-be had seats with '09 at the Harvard-Dartmouth game last fall so many in the group met the happy pair.
Dr. Reginald H. Colley on June 17 gave an address before the annual meeting of the American Wood-Preservers Association at Fort Collins, Denver, Colo. He and Mollie then flew to California to visit their daughter. They returned to Maplewood, N. J., the first part of July.
Dean Francis H. Bird spent the summer with his daughter Harriet (Mrs. Orval R. Grigsby) at her home high in the hills of Orinda, Contra Costa County, Calif.
Dr. Wilbur I. Bull, editor of The Diddings, suffered a severe heart attack the first part of August and spent the month under intensive care in the Mary Hitchcock Hospital. He is now recuperating at his home Cloudcroft, Etna, N. H. Classmates are glad he and Anna were in Hanover when it happened rather than in Australia where they were planning on going.
Miss Mona Abbott, daughter of Royal K., enjoyed a vacation in Africa and Europe before joining her mother in - where they visited relatives. Mrs. Abbott is now living with her son Royal K. Jr. '37 at 154 Roxbury Road, Stamford, Conn. 06902.
President Harold S. and Harriet A. Clark celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary on October 3. Congratulations to you both.

Chairman Chester S. Brett of the 60th Reunion Committee has his plans well advanced for the gathering next June 13-14 and 15 but you are the one to give pleasure to your classmates by your presence if physically possible. Chester and Martha entertained David E. Orr '57 of the College Offices of Administration overnight at his home in Harwichport, Mass., and has also been in Hanover checking on accommodations. All up for '69.
