Ralph B. and Harriet Clement enjoyed an automobile trip back to New England this fall visiting their daughter in Connecticut and also the Hanover Plains. Ralph was head agent for 1909 from 1949 to 1956. They are now back at home, 6451 Far Hills Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45459.
Reginald H. Colley was in Cincinnati, Ohio, for a week this fall attending technical committee meetings of the National Wood Preserving Association. He had hoped to see Dr. Francis H. Bird, "Tubby," but he was on an automobile trip to New England revisiting his old haunts.
Mrs. Royal K. Abbott writes that there was a mix-up over her change of address as reported in last month's MAGAZINE and that she is still at the old standby, 59 Westall Ave., Asheville, N. C. 28804. Sorry about that, Muriel.
Mrs. Eugene M. Stark is now living at 1171 Sandlewood Drive, Hemet, Calif. 92343. Mrs. Nathaniel J. Howland is now living at 310 West 86th St., New York, N. Y. 10024.
William I. Fearing, "Ingie," spent some time in the Newton-Wellesley Hospital this fall and is now recuperating at his home, Apt. 83 A, Norwood Ave., Newton Centre, Mass. 02159. "Mike" Farley who himself has been laid up for months with a bad back was able to drive over to the hospital and visit him.
'09s active yachtsmen, Jim Tuttle and Plum Leighton have had their boats pulled up for the winter after enjoying one of the most successful boating seasons Cape Cod has known.
Mrs. Grace Weinz, Gordon's wife, underwent a cataract operation on her second eye last month after waiting months for it. All hope she has a speedy recovery.
Eight members of the Class gathered at the Algonquin Club, Boston on Friday evening, October 25 for the annual dinner before the Harvard game. Present were Chester Brett, Harold Clark, Bertrand French, Curtis Hilliard, James Hitchcock, Stanley Leighton, Gordon Weinz, and Vernon West. Three hours of good fellowship were enjoyed and plans for the 60th reunion next June discussed.
