Ray Ammarell, senior vice president of Doubleday & Co., New York publishers, brings us up-to-date on his family. Son Bob, Colgate grad., married, one daughter; living in Buffalo; daughter Natalie, St. Lawrence grad., taking Master's degree in Paris; son Raymond, 6 years old. no children, no college degree, still living at home! The Ammarells reside in Chappaqua.

After having quoted Kelly Hill at length in the last issue, it behooves me now to report that he has resigned from his position of Dean of the Tuck School and as Professor of Marketing. The class will be glad to know that health was not a factor in his decision and will be wishing him all the luck in the world for the future. After 22 years, Hanover will miss the Hills, but we will hope to have them back frequently in the future.

Avery Products Co. of Leeds, England, has announced the combination of the Chart- Pak and Rotex divisions of the company; Richard A. Nelson of Corona Del Mar, Calif., will be general manager for both Chart-Pak and Rotex activities in North America. Dick is a vice president of Avery Products Corporation and has in the past five years organized the Rotex Division. Prior to joining Avery, he was vice president of the Philadelphia Carpet Co. Dick is a member of the Balboa Yacht Club, the Los Angeles Athletic Club, the Irvine Coast Country Club; is an Elder and Trustee of the Presbyterian Church; and a committee member of the Boy Scouts. He has three children, Christine, Susan, and Peter.

Comes now the time of year to recognize those members of the Class who have been devoting their time and energies in behalf of the College in various alumni capacities. 1938 is honored to have four classmates serving on the Alumni Council: Paul Urion from Region I; Bob Manegold from Region IV; Bob Jones from Region V; and Dawk, elected by the alumni.

Jim Bonnyman is president of the Sarasota, Fla., club; while Paul Urion wears another cap as secretary of the Rochester, N. H., club; and Gus Hennessey is secretary of the Quebec Alumni Association.

Three members of the Class are Area Enrollment Directors: Ed Perrin, Bob Hallock and Ralph Van Orsdel, the latter representing the island paradise of Hawaii.

After the dismal lack of snow in December, the white stuff has now come along in great style, and skiing ought to hit its peak about the time these notes hit the street. If ski trips bring any members of the Class to Hanover, drop in. The new Hanover Inn should be open and will be a showplace you won't want to miss - a real Hanover Hilton. And, in the meantime, how about sweetening up the old Shoe Box with a little news?
