The Christmas season gave our association a whole raft of excuses to join together in revelry and merrymaking. Jim Swanson ’59 was the chief ramrod of the annual luncheon, which was held in the month of December in honor of everyone: prospective Dartmouth men, undergraduates, and alums. Four stimulating speeches were made by undergraduates: Robbie Higgenson, freshman; Bob Harrington, sophomore; Mike Stratton, junior; and Buddy Noel, senior. Eighty-one were present, and for a Saturday in the middle of one of the best skiing seasons we've had, that ain't bad.

Jerry Samuelson '55, Jack Jacoby '51,Bob Halbert '59, and Don McMichael '53 set up the annual Christmas cocktail party, which I heard was great. It's the first one I've missed in thirteen years.

The enrollment program is in full swing. Dave Stephenson, son of the one and only Dave Stephenson '46, has just been accepted as an early decision candidate and has indicated that he is going back to the Big Green next year.

The annual meeting of the association will be held at the Denver Country Club March 15, 1968. Dean Thad Seymour will be the guest speaker. Word has it, he'll probably be coming in the day before the meeting to interview prospects and have conferences with the enrollment officers.
