It was an enjoyable evening at the Hollenden House Hotel where President Dickey addressed a good turnout of alumni and their wives at the annual alumni banquet. President Dickey gave an interesting insight into the rebellious trends and changes that are developing in the highly disciplined church and state institutions and governments around the world as well as the universities and colleges. He also discussed the university aspects of Dartmouth College.

A highlight at the banquet was a special presentation from the college made to JohnKlein '52. The award was in recognition of his outstanding achievement as class agent 11 to 25 years out of college. Under his leadership the class of 1952 has shown over a 20% increase each year over a period of five years and placed first in Green Derby during his tenure. Congratulations, John!

The following officers were elected. President, Robert Palmer '34; first vice president, Ed Oberndorf '52; second vice president, frank Treadway '50; secretary, Dick Stoddart '58; assistant secretary, Bob Gudbranson'55; treasurer, Tom McCreevey '55; assistant treasurer, Die Blum '53.

Bill Hotaling '41 and his committee have been busily engaged planning Computer Day, May 2. In addition to alumni, businessmen, educators, and professional men are being invited to a full day conference on the time-sharing technique developed at Dartmouth. This program is being conducted by the Tuck School.

Dick Stoddart, I wish you luck in meeting the deadline every month for this great MAGAZINE.
