AS a result of uncontested nominations by Dartmouth alumni clubs in seven regions of the country, twelve positions on the Dartmouth Alumni Council have been declared filled and the new or reelected members will begin two-year terms on July 1, as follows:
Region I (New England States): District 2, Lester R. Godwin '30, Boston, reelected. District 3, Robert P. Hallock Jr. '3B, Worcester, Mass., elected to succeed Robert D. Harrington '26, Worcester.
Region II (Middle Atlantic States): District 2, John H. Hatheway '4B, New York City, elected to succeed George N. Farrand '33, New York City. District3, Thomas J. Swartz Jr. '49, Short Hills, N. J., elected to succeed James D. Elleman '43, Mendham, N. J. District 4, Nathan W. Pearson '32, Pittsburgh, Pa., reelected.
Region III (Central States): District 1, Warren J. Crumbine '37, Cleveland, Ohio, reelected. District 3, Robert T. Mortimer '47, Chicago, reelected.
Region IV (Middlewestern States): District 3, Conrad S. Young '43, Omaha, Neb., elected to succeed Wayne P. Eves '44, Okoboji, Iowa.
Region V (Southern States): District 1, Roger A. Antaya '44, Baltimore, Md., elected to succeed Robert B. Jones Jr. '3B, Baltimore.
Region VI (Southwestern States) : District 1, W. Gene Gerard '55, St. Louis, Mo., elected to succeed Ernest D. Grinnell Jr. '42, St. Louis.
Region VII (Pacific States): District 1, Samuel H. Martin '27, Portland, Ore., elected to succeed Philip B. Swain '37, Seattle, Wash. District 2, Edwin J. Dreschel '36, San Francisco, reelected.
Additional new members of the Alumni Council will be elected by the class officers associations when they meet in Hanover this month, and the Council itself will elect several members-at-large at its annual meeting in June.
