Toledo

On March 19, Bob Blackman visited Toledo. After an afternoon meeting with potential football candidates, he- joined club members, wives, and Toledo University Head Coach Frank Lauterbur for dinner at the Charcoal House. After dinner, Bob commented on Dartmouth changes, the 1967 football season, and prospects for 1968.

New club officers were introduced. LymanBacon '60 will replace Jay Torok '61 as president with John Bloomfield '56 taking over responsibilities of Interviewing Chairman. Jack Witte '46, Bill Green '61, and Ted Harbaugh '35 will continue as Treasurer, Secretary, and Scholarship Chairman.

During January and February, 21 prospective students were interviewed. The club officers were assisted by Clint Mauk '500, Chuck Darrow '60, George Read '52, and Bob Bogart '46.
