Coach Burnham's youthful and inexperienced lacrosse squad has not had much success in the won-lost column this spring. On the bright side, however, is the fact that this spirited contingent has played numerous periods of inspired lacrosse against some of their most impressive opponents. Never once has any member "given up," however one-sided the score. Against Harvard, one of the more potent Ivy League teams this spring, the Big Green played an exciting game, leading the Crimson at the half, before finally falling behind 11-5. One of the squad's problems this year has been a serious lack of depth. Next spring will see the return of most of the present team, with a full season of solid action behind them. The outlook for the future, therefore, is a much brighter one. The loss through graduation of seniors Bill Rich and Rob McCormick, who have paced the Green's scoring attack through 1968, is a big one, and it will require the rapid development of many underclassmen to provide a winning summary for the Indians.
