Receding chronologically, I recall that we had a nice visit in April from Catharine andBill Milne of Wilmington. They were visiting in this area which Bill left recently to change his vocation to teacher general science at Stanton Junior High in Stanton, Del. It's also pleasant to recall that great Hanover Inn meeting in May when John Dickey, although unable to attend the testimonial dinner, wrote "please record me at your dinner as casting two enthusiastic votes for the admission of A. I. D. and C. E. W. as charter members of Dartmouth's Hall of Fame, which, to borrow a lovely phrase, 'is builded in our hearts.' "
In June the "Caracas Daily Journal" reported that the Centro Venezolano Americano of Caracas had gratefully acknowledged the gift of five Sierra Club editions given by the Dartmouth class of 1930 in the name of Mrs. Margot Bottome, one of the founders of the CVA. The gift was presented to the CVA as an expression of the appreciation for the hospitality that the members of the class enjoyed during their visit to Venezuela earlier this year.
Bob and Margot Bottome were among the first to announce that they will be in Hanover for our 40th.
Which logically leads to a summary of tentative plans for that reunion. This will be a Monday, June 15 through Thursday noon affair, and Chairman Ed Brazil has announced that our headquarters will be the Fayerweathers. Monday: Registration; special 1930 reception, alumni dinner at Field House, President's reception.
Tuesday: Memorial service, class picnic, college entertainment. Wednesday: Class meeting, regional reports, class dinner. Thursday: Seminar, election of officers, DOC House luncheon. This is going to be a great occasion. Don't miss it!

J., rotating through seven assignments. Presently I am the employment supervisor.
"One of my most interesting assignments was in the Community Relations Organization where I was in charge of selecting a bi-racial group of employees who had supervisory capabilities and organizing a oneyear training program for them. Another facet of this assignment was setting up a special school for drop-out students from Newark and arranging for their work experience training on an every-other-week basis until they graduated."

Bob Pratt, assistant vice president of the Southern New England Telephone Company, was a June retiree. Scott Vanderbeck retired from Prudential in July and he and Lois have moved to a new home in Bradenton. Florida seems to rate highly as a haven, with Art Brown now living at Lighthouse Point and PaulMaguire in Miami Beach. And so it goes, with the total reaching towards thirty which is a good nucleus for some near future 1930 affairs in that region. If you want to know how to get about to see your Florida classmates, call on Les Bailey, district manager AAA, Daytona Beach. Lou Mourey has retired from Becton-Dickinson Company but appears to have remained in New Jersey.
