UNDERGRADUATE enrollment for the fall term is a record 3252, which is an increase of 103 over last year's total. The increase in residential students is even greater,' 3184 to last fall's 3042, since only 68 men are studying away from the campus compared with 107 in absentia last year. Classes represented in this year's undergraduate enrollment range from 1962 (three men) to 1973, which has a record membership of 852 men. The 114 special students enrolled this year are also an unusually large number.
Graduate enrollment in the College of Arts and Sciences and in the three professional schools has risen to a total of 626, compared with last year's 587. These students- are distributed as follows: 149 in the College, 234 in Tuck School, 61 in Thayer School, and 204 in the Medical School, of whom 105 are regular medical students and 99 are post-doctoral fellows, interns, and residents.
The grand total of all students this fall is 3878, compared with 3736 last year.
