On December 28, the Club held its annual Holiday Smoker. Three undergraduates from the area spoke to the assembled alumni and students. The program gave us all a new and realistic look at the college. The 1968 football films were also shown. The whole affair was arranged by Allen Hale '61.

Sam Hughes '61 is the man in charge of this year's Dartmouth Day at the North Stars hockey game. Sam has made arrangements for 80-100 people to attend the February 23 North Stars vs. Toronto game. There will be cocktails at the Stadium Club following the game.

Enrollment work, headed by Jim Rogers'51 and Tom Keller '57, is coming down to the wire. We are expecting another strong delegation from this area to enter Hanover next fall. Last year we had over fifty people actively involved in enrollment work.

On November 15, Professor Terrie of the Dartmouth English Department spoke to a group of 25 local alumni at the Minneapolis Athletic Club. His talk centered around student life at Dartmouth today and the whole session ended up in a lively discussion.

We are looking forward to having Tom Mikula, Director of ABC at Dartmouth, speak to us at a luncheon meeting on February 4.

From here in the great Northwest where it's now 20° below zero, we extend our warmest wishes for a Happy New Year to our fellow alumni across the country. We urge any of you who are passing through this area to contact us.
