Harold S. Clark was re-elected treasurer of St. John's Episcopal Church, Sandwich, Mass., at the annual meeting in January 1969.
Sidney C. Hazelton was elected vice president emeritus and honorary member for life of the Board of Governors of the Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl Game at the annual meeting in December 1968. This action followed Sid's resignation of his place on the Board because of age. Sid served as the game's first Director of Athletics from 1954-1959. He was responsible for the first Manual on the Athletic Aspects of the Game and assisted in the 1968 revision of the handbook. He was elected a member of the Board in 1958 and vice president in 1959 serving until his resignation.
James F. Greenebaum - sent along a clipping which told of the passing of Mrs. Blanche Cowap Mann Irwin, Burr's widow, on December 24, 1968. He also paid tribute to her as one of his early schoolmates in Danville, Ill. She had served on the Evanston School Board from 1928-1943 and on the plan commission in the 19305. Members of 1909 will remember our 40th reunion at which Bunk and Blanche were hosts at their farm in Norwich, Vt., for Al Newton's clambake which had to be made in the sugar house because of the forest fire hazard.
Henry Alker Erhard, brother of Emile, died January 18, 1969 in Ipswich, Mass. His home was at 162 Cherry St., Wenham, Mass. He was only with the Class freshman year and graduated from Harvard in 1909. An In Memoriam will appear in this MAGAZINE or a later issue.
Mrs. Ethel Burham Pool, widow of Sterling H. (Scipio), passed away in August 1967 according to information just received.
Mrs. Albert W. Place, widow of "Vic," died in Cambridge, Ohio, on November 24, 1968.
