As the April edition of the ALUMNI MAGAZINE will feature the Dartmouth College Case written by Dick Morin '24, Librarian Emeritus, our notes will be very limited. New England has had the worst winter and heaviest snowfall in years. We have been snowed-in for three weeks and as I write, we are having another six inches. It's great for skiers but hard on the old-timers.

Just received word of the death of our classmate "Bob" Mungall on 10 Jan., 1969 of a heart attack, at his home in Anaheim, Calif. He is survived by his wife Mildred and a daughter, Mrs. Jack (Janet) Goodell and three grandchildren. An "In Memoriam" notice will be in this or a subsequent issue. Our heartfelt sympathy to his wife Mildred and his daughter and family.

Outside of Bill Towler, Bart Shepard, Johnnie Remsen and a few others, I haven't heard from a soul, so news is scarce. Speaking of weather Johnnie Remsen writes that they took the full blast of the February snowstorm in good style. The whole side of the house, windows and doors were coated with ice and snow, because their house takes the full blast of the N.E. and N.W. storms. Since Christmas John has been helping Walter Darby '39 interviewing prospective freshmen from their area. So far they have been a select group. No beards or long hair. They were all good. He can understand why the College has such a hard time in its selection. John says that I have earned my "Belly Stripe" along with a lot of other '13ers and not to turn any mattresses or change tires. He didn't say anything about shoveling snow of which I have done considerable.
