Betty Terry is still working at the Mary Hitchcock Hospital in Hanover as a medical technician and so in love with the town she wants Bill and Sarah to move into that area now that Bill has retired and the city does not have the daily call and attraction. Stephen (a Middlebury grad. D. U.) married while in service. He finished his three-year enlistment last July, up in Alaska most of the time. He is now with the Aero Service Co., Philadelphia, and they had their first boy in July. ... Bill Jr., M.I.T. '42, is still single and with the Petro Chemical Co., a travelling engineer, erecting furnaces in oil refineries all over the U.S.A. and Canada. He has just left for Santos, Brazil, and will hunt up the Matt Gateleys in Rio.

Ralph Samuel succeeds John Gardner as vice chairman of the board of the New York School of Social Work, Columbia University.

Last month we mentioned Laura Remsen's work in the Home Bureau. She was on C.B.S.T.V. Channel 2 on the last Sunday in December on Eric Seward's program, "American Work," - the six billion dollar industry of "Do it yourself" being mentioned, if not featured.
