By now all of you probably have received the Class News which was very informative and interesting. Bill did a fine job bringing us up to date on the activities of our classmates everywhere. He has proven himself a worthy successor to our beloved Joe Barnett.

Bob Conant writes that he and Mildred have just returned to their home in Hanover after a four month stay in Florida. They left Ormond on April 15 and arrived in Hanover about five o'clock on the 18th, after a good but uneventful trip. They drove 400 miles the last day but as Bob put it, "which is not much the way some people drive but enough for us and a bit too much for Mildred." Except for two weeks in mid February when it was rainy, cold and windy, they had a fine four months sojourn in the Sunshine State. However they were glad to get back home and were welcomed by Freddie Page.

Harry French spent a month visiting his brother Roland in Gainsville. They expected a lot of good fishing but the cool and windy weather deterred them.

Looking through old records we find that the merrie month of June brought forth on this continent the following illustrious classmates: Cliff Clarke, Eric Foster,Harry French, Steve Perry, Carl Shumway, Sig Stavrum, Fletcher Tilton andClarence Von Tacky. Many happy returns and good health to all.

Our Executive Committee has elected Classmate Bart Shepard's son, Alan B. Shephard Jr., who now holds admiralcy rank, to honorary membership in the Class of 1913.

Renza's latest news of Bart is that he has left intensive care and has been transferred to a nice sunny room with TV. He is getting excellent therapy and is responding slowly but surely, for which we are all thankful.
