The kick-off Dinner for the Third Century Fund, featuring Dean Emeritus Arthur E. Jensen, was a great success. Sixty alumni and wives were present to hear Prof. Jensen tell about Dartmouth's past, present and future. He not only evoked memories of the past, but visions of the future.

The invocation was given by Arthur Wheelock '14 and the meeting was chaired by the Secretary of the Club, Jim Bonnyman '38. The president, Holt McAloney '26, had to miss the meeting due to a previous engagement of six months' standing, and Gib Robinson '26, the vice president, was recovering from a bout of pneumonia. Arthur Jenson was introduced by Bob Hardy'25, Chairman of the Third Century Fund for the Florida West Coast.

Many old stalwarts were present, including the Roger Browns '05, Allen Brown '07 the Gil Sweets and the Sumner Emerson's of '17, the Clark Collinses '18, Mrs. Jack Odonnell '18, and two couples new to our Club, the Bob Koskis '51 and the Tom Marshalls '63.
