12:30 Rep, which got off to a fine start at the end of the winter term with fifty-minute plays in repertory during the noon hour in the Studio Theatre at Hopkins Center, resumed in April. The first of four 12:30 Rep spring productions was "The Farce of Master Pierre Patelin," directed by Geraldine Silk and produced as a final project for Prof. Henry Williams' course, Directing 53. Miss Silk, one of the special drama coeds, was seen in the highly successful 12:30 Rep production of "Moon" last term.
The winter series of plays were initiated and directed by Prof. Errol Hill, who sought to provide the students in his Acting II course with the ultimate challenge of an audience. He also wanted to expose more individuals to the drama by making good theater inexpensively (25¢ admission) accessible to Dartmouth and the Hanover community. The success of his efforts may be seen in the continuation of 12:30 Rep this spring.
