This local club has taken on a new look. Not only have the faces of the club officers changed from last year, but a new name has been adopted, the boundary lines altered, and a revised constitution ratified. All for only a one dollar increase in club dues, which still makes it one of the best buys m the alumnus' budget.

The officers, who succeeded to office in an off-phase procedure due to an early retirement and change in the executive committee composition brought about by the new constitution, are: Lyon Greenberg '54, president; Don Davidoff '56, vice president; the above as secretary-treasurer; and an executive committee made up of Pren Carnell '56, past-president; Dr. Milton Aronowitz'13, member-at-large; Ray Bankert '49, member-at-large; and Steve Wilson '55, memberat-large. Ken Soule '49 has agreed to stay on and continue his excellent work in the recruiting of alumni-to-be.

While the predecessor club, the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Northeastern New York, covered territory extending all the way to Canada, the revised structure cuts back considerably to a much smaller "primary" service area in recognition of the newer clubs which have sprung up since the 1907 founding of the Northeastern Association. In a nutshell, if your ZIP code address falls within 12000-12399, you're in the Eastern New York club area. And if you're just outside and want to be included on the club roster, payment of dues will do it.

The first main event of the new social season in October was a combined club meeting and Third Century Fund kick-off dinner at the Colonie Country Club. "Bus" Mosbacher Jr. '43, National Alumni Chairman of the Fund, teamed up with William P. Davis Jr., Associate Provost of the College, to furnish a very pleasant evening for 120 club members and wives. Bill Barnet II '34, Area Third Century Fund Chairman, was the toastmaster and, as usual, the Aronowitz family walked off with attendance honors with Sam Aronowitz '11, Dr. and Mrs. Milton Aronowitz '13, Leon and Mrs. Aronowitz 'IS, and Milt Aronowitz Jr. '55 all present and accounted for. Other Dartmouth families well represented were the Barvoetses, Ernest '24 and Robert '39, the Carnells, Prentiss Jr. '26 and Prentiss in '56, the Towses, Dr. Robert '24 and Seth '57, and the Carters, Jim '44 and Dr. John '46.

At the March club luncheon the gathered group of Win Weser '23, Jack Vincens '39, Larry Pedersen '48, John DeGraff Jr. '50, Dick Danforth '54, John Brandow '57, plus Bill Barnet '34, Bob Longabaugh '53, Lyon Oreenberg '54, Milt Aronowitz Jr. '55, all responded with a good round of applause to news that Art Leonard '34 at the foot oi the luncheon table had been elected to the Alumni Council

The next big event for the club will be the annual dinner meeting on May 16 at the Jamaica Inn where "retiring" Dean Thad Seymour is slated to pass on to the presidency of Wabash College in style. If you were missed in the pre-dinner canvass and desire to make a reservation, call LyonGreenberg '54 at 489-0119, because the Eastern New York club is planning on gathering in the old tradition to give Thad a good send off.
