Montevideo, Uruguay

Dean Chamberlin '26 in his work with the USIA does considerable traveling in the Old World and the New. A recent inspection trip took him to Montevideo where he contacted some Dartmouth alumni living in the area. Four Dartmouth men thus gathered for lunch on March 11. The group included Jacob Gillespie '61; James Cason '66, and Michael Chu '68.

Jake is with the USIS in Montevideo having previously spent some time with this same organization in Africa. Jim Cason after earning his M.A. in international affairs in the States is now on a Fulbright Fellowship at the University of the Republic in Montevideo. Michael Chu, whose home is in Montevideo and is a graduate of the British School there, at Dartmouth engaged in many student activities among them drawing some cartoons for the Dartmouth, Jack o'Lantern, and the ALUMNI MAGAZINE.
