Your Class President, James M. O'Neill died Saturday, September 19 at the Emerson Convalescent Home in Watertown, Mass.. and word has been received that our classmate H. Duncan Oliphant of 8 Drew Road, South Portland, Me., died Sunday, October 18 at the Maine Medical Center, Portland. For further information see In Memoriam of this or a subsequent issue.
Harley E. Mann of North Haverhill, N. H., "Slab City," writes that he has been in the Mary Hitchcock Hospital in Hanover several weeks for an operation and is back home again feeling much better.
Robert T. Stokes, 11 Knollwood Drive, Newtown, Conn., is enjoying good health and would like to see classmates anytime.
Town Crier Fred Baldwin of Provincetown, Mass., presides over firing three salutes of the ancient Vasa cannon from the stern of the "Kungsholm." He is a.-.so "Cannon Ringer" so says the New Bedford Stand Times on October 8, 1970. Freddie sure keeps busy!
Bob Lyons of Washington, D. C., sent your secretary his tickets to the Harvard-Dartmouth game. It was a great game and Bob Blackman is a wonderful football coach with a supreme record.

Finally I have just received two telephone calls within a half hour of each other informing me that two more classmates have died: Edward L. Ashley on Monday, October 26 at Evanston, Ill., and Dr.William D. Walker on Thursday, October 29 at Exeter, N. H. Sad news.
