Robert D. Kenyon, Head Class Agent, reports that our classmates and their families have again given generously to the Dartmouth Alumni Fund. There were 131 contributors and a total of $17,470. Mrs. Charles Woodworth (Sarah) has been very helpful in the campaign for five years. Robert thanks you all for your loyal support.
Your secretary was pleased to receive a birthday card from Classmate Edward B. Barker. Edward has lived in Rutherford, N. J., for the past 55 years and in October he will move to 21539 Tenny Ave., Dearborn, Mich. 28124 to live with his son Craig and family.
Crick Crocker, your Class Treasurer, and wife Helena have returned to their Milton, Mass., home, 105 Churchill Lane, after another nice summer in South Strafford, Vt.
Rodney Hazen of LaJolla, Calif., writes me at the time of my 88th birthday that he hopes I will complete the Human Marathon Race of 100 years. Rocky and Dorothy wish to be remembered to all 1907 classmates. It's a great life.
Your secretary's brother Henry Dewey Grebenstein of Reading, Mass., died at the age of 74 on September 13. He was secretary of the Massachusetts Sons of the American Revolution of which I am a member.
Word has been received that Classmate Dr. Harry S. Whitaker died August 21 in the DeLand Convalescent Center, DeBary, Fla., where he had been since November. 1970. Harry was very loyal to Dartmouth through the years.
Classmates having birthdays in November are: George H. Hoyt, November 3 1885 and Clifford E. Norris, November 7, 1878. Cliff is our oldest living classmate.
