A well-managed, well-attended Glee Club concert in March and participation in the annual Ivy Scholarship Ball in February were the highlights of the late winter and early spring activities of the Delaware Club. Tom Herlihy III '57 served on the Ivy Ball committee and helped plan a fine social evening that had a good Dartmouth turn-out, plus a gain for our scholarship fund. The Glee Club concert, held at Wilmington High School, presented the Bicentennial program featuring "A Portrait of Dartmouth," a mixed-media, historically accurate reffection of Dartmouth College through its first two hundred years. Jim Lawrence '57 chaired a vigorous, hard-working committee of BradCurtis '57, Tom Calloway '55 and JohnFoote '50. Tom Calloway served as innkeeper for the sixty undergraduates, finding accommodations throughout Wilmington, New Castle County and parts of Pennsylvania. No one had to sleep on the floor (we think) although there was a report of Glee Clubbers bailing out a Yale man's basement following a late evening rain storm. The diversity of accommodations available to visiting collegians was best described, perhaps, by Paul Zeller who stated the experience should be "very broadening" for the undergraduates. Fellowship, parties, singing, reminiscences and new friends were the order of the day. Truly a fine visit and many thanks to Jim Lawrence and his team for a job nicely completed.

Robb DeGraff '39 has been elected treasurer and member of the board of directors of the Delaware Curative Workshop. This important community agency provided physical, occupational, and speech therapy services for nearly 3,000 patients last year.

We look forward to: Eastern Shore Alumni Seminar, April 17-19; annual banquet, May 5; and our annual summer picnic. We thank the many alumni who have so generously supported the Club (and the College) in our enrollment, social and fundraising activities this year. Have a nice summer!
