March was an active month for Dartmouth men in Houston. At our monthly meeting, Club President Chuck Noll '53 introduced two new members to the Houston and Dartmouth community. Pete Sherwood'62, and J. P. Thomas '35, both oil company executives recently transferred to Houston, were recognized and greeted.

District Enrollment Chairman, Frank Stephens '61, gave his summary on Houston area enrollment activities. We are delighted to have several fine applicants vying for positions in the Class of 1974. All members present and all those who participated throughout the campaign gave Frank a hearty "well done."

The Houston Club was particularly pleased to welcome Athletic Director, Seaver Peters'54, to an evening gathering held in Houston's beautiful Hotel Sonesta. A spirited group of Dartmouth men and their ladies were hosts to Seaver for a cocktail hour and dinner. All present enjoyed the elaboration by Seaver on our expanding and diversified athletic program in addition to recent developments at the College. Those present to welcome Seaver to the Bayou City were Dwight and Mary Edson '18, Pete and Jo Sherwood '62, Hank Fry '53, Dave Hedges '34, Frank Stephens '61, Bill Blue '61, Ben and Pat Page '42, Bill and Flo Lain '42, Chuck Noll '53, Brock and Jill Lewis '52, Ray and Lois Alexanian '52, Bob and Betty Williams '42, Frank and Ursula Webber '47, Bob Buecher '64 and Chuck and Carol Gillian '35.
