The Rev. Hollis M. Bartlett a 1947 Silver Beaver Award winner was given a statuette, depicting a scout, for his many years of service by Mohegan Council of the Boy Scouts of America in Worcester, Mass., at the May meeting attended by nearly 900 representatives from nearby districts.

Announcements have been received telling of the marriage of the Rev. Eunice Bacon Shaw and the Rev. Dr. WilburIrving Bull on August 1, 1971 at Beneficent Congregational Church, Providence, R. I., by the minister, the Rev. A. Ralph Barlow Jr., assisted by the Rev. Dr. Arthur E. Wilson, a former minister of the church. All four participants in the ceremony are friends of long standing. The newlyweds are now at home in Cloudcroft, Etna Highlands, Hanover, and extend an invitation to the Class to visit them when in the vicinity. They drove over to Cape Cod and visited Harold and Harriet Clark at their home in Sagamore Beach while they were spending some time in Rhode Island.
John F. Glynn Jr. writes from his home in Los Angeles, Calif., that the earthquake shook them for several months but only resulted in a few cracks. He reports that he has eleven grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren. He will be 85 on November 4 and says he feels it.
