Laurence Vaughn Gardner died at the Hartwyck Nursing Home, Cedar Grove, N.J., on April 14, 1973, four days after he and his wife had celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary. Larry's granddaughter Gail Vaughn Crampton is married to Donald H. Wesson '61 and they have two sons. They are at present living in Milan, Italy. The Hotel Mayflower in Plymouth, Mass., where 1909 held its 35th reunion in 1944 was destroyed by fire the morning of April 12.
