Dick Hlavac writes that he is perma- nently settled in Christchurch, New Zealand, where he is Librarian at the University of Canterbury. Their children, are Catherine 10, Richard 8, Christopher 4 and Michael 1. Another short note from abroad indicates that Bob Picken is in Greece on sabbatical leave from Queens College in Flushing, N. Y. Marion Gribble and his family are now in Vienna where Marion is Deputy Adviser to the U. S. Permanent Representative to the United Nations Industrial Development Organization. Dr. Bill Frable has been named Professor of Surgical Pathology at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond.
Jim Breeden us now Chairman of the Education and Social Policy Program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education in Cambridge. Don Dillon is a Lt. Col. and Chief of the Hematology-Oncology Service at Walter Reed General Hospital and writes that he and Patricia and all seven children are doing great; count 'em—Nancy, John Kevin, Susan, Gregory, Douglas, and Mark.
The bankers of America descended upon San Francisco not long ago and brought a good Dartmouth turnout including BillSherman in from Kansas and MikeGrunebaum from New York. Mike and Marge entertained on behalf of New York Hanseatic Corporation at a late evening party distinguished by outstanding German fare. Also active in the San Francisco money business is Jim Hill, a new business partner of Fred Oman. Jim and Marcia have moved back into the city with their two boys and have a fine old townhouse as a base of operations for their considerably active lives. Local politics are very much on their minds not only as concerned resident tax payers, but in connection with Marcia's free-lance public relations work as well.
In Pasadena, Bill and Shiela Wheeler welcomed an infant daughter in September. ... Also, a second child and first daughter is Carolyn Miles Gray, whose father is Woody Gray of Basking Ridge, N. J.... Don and Mary Faith Marriott were married September 10, and Don quickly qualifies as Father of the Year with sons John and Jeff who are sixth and fourth-graders, and daughter Lindsay, a third-grader.
