Bob Dumont, reunion chairman, reports, "As of mid-December we have close to 100 classmates who have indicated a definite desire to return for our 20th Reunion, with an additional 45 hoping to do so. This is a record turnout for a Dartmouth 20th Reunion. The plans are being firmed up and all things point to a great weekend in Hanover - June 18, 19, and 20."
Our 20th Reunion in June will also mark the beginning of new class leadership to carry us to our 25th! A nominating committee, under the chairmanship of Clem Malin, will submit to the class in the spring a ballot with nominations for the offices of president, secretary, and treasurer and an executive committee. In addition, recommendations will be made by the nominating committee to the newly formed executive committee for the non-elective positions of head agent, class newsletter editor, social chairman, 25th Reunion chairman, and Foreign Scholarship Program chairman. Volunteers and nominations for any or all of these positions will be welcomed by Clem up to March 15 (address: 6611 Dearborn Drive, Falls Church, Va. 22044).
Len Clark, reported last spring to be pondering doing something very unbusinesslike for a change, is back in an office, if, indeed, he ever left one. A release from Ward Howell Associates, Inc., in New York reports that he has joined them as a principal. The firm is one of the major executive search organizations with offices in the U.S. and overseas. Len lives with his wife Lee and two children in Montclair, N.J. Len Sir. is a member of the Class of 1931.
A memorial to Howie Wisotzkey has been established at the Presbyterian University Hospital, Pittsburgh. Checks or cash contributions should be made payable to Presbyterian University Hospital - Wisotzkey Fund. The official title is the Howard M. Wisotzkey, M.D., Neuropathology Memorial Fund. The hope is to dedicate a neuropathology conference room in Dr. Wistozkey's name. A plaque with his name, academic title, and period of service will be placed in the room. In addition, these funds will be used to purchase certain items of teaching equipment. The instruction of medical students, residents, interns, and other persons who spend time in' the neuropathology laboratory was a major interest of Dr. Wisotzkey.
The only other item to share is that Franklin Cole & Company, New York investment counsellor, has changed its name to Cole, Yeager & Wood, giving due recognition to George Yeager's role in the firm.
