It is a great pleasure for me to announce in this month's column that Bill Miles will be our new Class Secretary. His interests in the College, the Class, and in people are deep. His location in Boston, his travels internationally as a banker, and his enthusiasm for this job will all hold him in good stead. In spite of my remarks in this column last month, I know we are not a silent class. I hope you'll help prove this by keeping Bill well supplied with cards, letters, and pictures of your activities.

Ellen Ray laments that Chuck has been pretty much a weekend father for eight weeks or so. She also notes that Chuck really enjoys the challenges of sales and being vice president in charge of same with the Will Ross Hospital Supply Company. I'll never forget Chuck's story of how, when he first started selling, he demonstrated an inflatable air mattress with a nun at a Catholic hospital in Wyoming. Continuing in a medical vein, Elliott Danforth is now an assistant professor of medicine with the Vermont faculty from the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research.
