These notes come to you from Florida where we hope to renew many contacts of former years. First, we were delighted to meet our Ruth Sisson at her winter home in Daytona. It was a happy reunion and a treat to see her brother Rufus Sisson '14. We reminisced about our freshman year when Rufus led a championship basketball team, when he was a senior.
A chat over the phone with DorothyStockwell revealed that her grandson Craig is a member of the freshman class at Dartmouth. Good news, Dorothy, and a valid excuse for joining us in Hanover next September.
Just before leaving Vermont, we contacted Emdon Fritz, retired investment banker, who is now living in Manchester, Vt. Since he was a former analyst, we wanted to ask him whether the drop in the hemline—or otherwise—had anything to do with the bear market.
Fresh from the press comes a new edition by Ed Dewey, a sequel to his former publication. The new one is entitled "Cycles—the greatest mystery in the world." Our congratulations, Ned.
Gordon Tracy is well on his way to recovery from recent eye surgery, and is now living in Windsor, Vt., his old home town.
Carroll Valentine (Val) is another classmate who has retired to his native land—Bethel, Me., after some 35 years of professional activity in Pennsylvania.
Our popular president, Mott Brown and his good wife, Fran, have just returned from a trip to the Coast, where they visited their daughter over the holidays. All is well and they are back safe and sound at the Cape.
Adios for now. Keep the news coming.
